I don't think even the devs know. But what ALS said made me think otherwise. They said they'll rethink the new exp needed per level before they release 1.7. Unless they themselves release it but only need Apple's approval.

Yup, it was announced that it would be early this week. And I'm expecting it to be on Monday server time (since they said they're only holding off to next week to avoid the weekend, I assume its ready).
