Since STS gives us a bonus of exp for having a full group (Cinco said for each exp point you would instead get 1.3 if a full group) why give us a penalty on the gold for playing in a full group? Maybe receive the same amount of gold you get solo with a full group. Farming solo is pretty boring but groups make it fun but a lot less gold made.
Another idea is that you change the amount you exchange platinum into gold. You could make an exchange based on the market by just using the average selling price of gold per week or month on various items and make a conversion. Because frankly the rate you have now is awful and not worth it in any way.
