Fast Firing Bows

Are there fast firing bows? My bow seems slow and I purchased a heavy bow that was 1.4 but it still isn't rapid firing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

Remember, the smaller the number the faster it fires.

think of it as shots per second, and the number of speed is the time that passes between each arrow. the more shots you can squeeze in per second, the faster you are shooting them.
