Rapid Firing Bows

Hi all,

Are there any rapid firing bows? My bow seems slow and I'm level 25 but my character still seems weak

In general, bows are the slowest firing Dex weapons, but they compensate for that with high damage. Bow speeds vary, but afaik, there are no real "fast firing" bows. Also the gear options (for all classes) are fairly limited at level 25, but I gave you more detail on that in the other threa you posted ;)

erhmm, royce, waht does afaik mean? oh and anon, the bow doesn't really matter much except for m/s nad h/s. I just look for the best base damage so my combo can work it's way to victory.

Read up on the bird guide. It's very good. There's lots more to birds than their weapon damage. Hell, sometimes my birdie kills plenty even when I forget to weapon target :P

You can also just try out different weapons. There're plenty of cheap ones in the store. You'll see pretty quick which ones are good and which aren't your style. Or you can just equip ones you drop. Lots of greens do the same damage as their pink equivalents. The pinks just have better other stats. So equip the greens/purps and try out their damage. You'll see pretty quickly the difference between damage and DPS.

use talon and wing instead, it give u more armor and dps

I know this is an old post, but bows have a pretty fast weapon speed of around ~0.7. I wouldn't call that slow. Might be slow compared to the rest of the dex equipment, but bows have a larger damage stat to compensate.

(Don't crossbows have slower weapon speeds?)
