From what i've gathered, the gem adds 7.0 base dmg. (5.5+1.5)

Additional gem on the same item don't really stack up? ie. if 2 slots, (5.5+1.5+1.5) if 3 slots (5.5+1.5+1.5+1.5)

What if I craft it into different part of the gear?
ie. Only one each on weapon, on helm, on armor, on ring, on amulet.
Will it gains the benefit of the 7.0 dmg?

I'm thinking it doesn't, so the max to craft into any gear you would wear is only 1.

Could anyone knowledgeable enlighten me on para gems? thx.

so from the examples stated before:

(slot) 1 = 2 + 5.5 = 7.5
(slot) 2 = 2+ 7.5 = 9.5
(slot) 3 = 2 + 9.5 = 11.5

etc

This is across all gear, not per piece of gear. If you managed to slot everything you own (and give up all those stats?!?!) You would be looking at:

15 * 2 + 5.5, or 35.5

I think mathematically it doesn't balance out if you neglect your primary stat over these, and may end up having equal damage or less, I'm sure someone will figure it out

Sorry for the changes, but I'm keeping everyone informed best as we can, as relevantly as we can within our means.

Stacking the Para gem isn't that great - by design. (Samhayne )
