The true reason i preach MINECRAFT

I just forced myself to stop after finding a MEGACAVE in a online server, and exploring it for 2-3 hours... dear god, the side passages never end.

minerals to mine line every wall, lava and water collide in all directions, monsters spawn faster than you can put down torches in the deeper areas, and there is just SO FREAKING MUCH TO EXPLORE.

Me and some guy that built a underwater base together stumbled upon it and are sharing the ores we find while clearing the freaking place, making sure every damn corner is lit so no more bow wielding skeletons pop out and maim us... of course, neither of us had food to regain health.

I started out with a nice and simple iron sword and pick. just by picking at TWO of the caves i found and monster drops i ended with a full inventory of goodies.

We where so lost lol, but we where not going to give up on the cave.
well anyways we split directions, and became so lost we could not find the passages we had skipped earlier in forks. so as soon as i realized i was about to be dead in a sudden zombie ambush and LOSE ALL MY HARD EARNED GOODIES i decided to just cut my losses and type /home to get back to my base.... many many caves above me. i wonder if i will find that spot again... prob not, but definetly will find others like it, in my first MEGACAVE.

Minecraft may look like lego type graphics, but it sparks up everyones imagination and once you start a large scale project I promise you you won't stop till your done.

ps that is the default texture pack. it is supposed to look slightly retro lol. with a resolution of 16x16, its expected. but if your computer can run it, you can download 64x64 resolution texture packs and really make it shine

ps appstore? it is for desktops/laptops

the game is all about collecting resources and building ANYTHING with them. and by setting difficulties you can try evading monsters at night, exploring caves filled with them, or just huddle in your brightly lit house, hearing them moan outside xD

current server. handles load well, amazingly not lagging out as much. not sure on how much people on these forums play minecraft... but just thought this server would help find out

lol... if in a multiplayer game i end up doing everything manually. i simply cant play single player since this is my process:

/give torches 64
/give diamond (everything) 64
xray around me, find dungeons
/give lava
pour lava down them all
/give tnt 9999
make a giant hole
/spawn ghast 100 (in the hole)
/damage (off)
/give bow
/give arrows 99999
shoot everything until lagged out

minecraft is ok, i played it for a week then figured out you could use inv editor, played it for another week then inv editor corrupted my game and i quit.

Yes you can kill them. Or, like us smart people, make traps so that they drown/burn or get cactus stung to death, thereby making a monster item drop factory 8)
Or just take a sword or bow and charge em, your call. Lol

Also about the main goal: why need one? Make yourself a goal, this is not your linear storyline game.
