Honestly putting it in a leprechaun amulet was the most logical for me. It really doesn't add much damage at all and I just wanted to have the effect on any set I was wearing.

Besides unless you put it on an arcane ring or level 41 mythic weapon it will be on an outdated piece of equip within 6 months. Can't wait to see all the mythic Rings and amulets with para gems selling for cheap in a few months when they are outdated. Anyone who put it on one of those will see.

It's definitely more. Comparing +15 myth bow with para to +18 is roughly 25 more damage. Putting para on lepre is a bad idea, would be wiser to save it instead of gemming unworthy gear. At least that's my opinion.

I compared regular glac mythic ring to a para/glac mythic ring. Difference was 5 damage and 10 dps. Wasn't impressive at all. Id rather just use it for the effect. I actually gain 5 damage from it on the leprechaun amulet.

If you ever equip a gear with para gems upgraded, you would know when you inspect, only the 2 bonus damage shows and hence you see little amount of damage added. But, When you actually equip the item, the non stacked 5+ damage bonus works and gives you way more damage.

Btw I don't wear lepre to get damage but to reroll lucks at last % of boss's hp!
So putting para gems on some gears I actually use to fight and get benefited by 40 ish damage is never waste to me

Para gems work like Archon ring bonuses.

You have to equip it in order to truly see the benefits (bonus dmg is taken into account after equiping)

As a collector Keep the outdated gear for para effect then. That way you could enjoy the damage and the effect both! Yes you cant wear that outdated para gemmed gear to fight hard elites but neither you can with lepre!
Oh and Who knows para gems won't be back next year!
Anyway different people different opinions!

Prob me lol. Best thing about a para gem is it's useful and a vanity item. You can use it however you want.

I have noticed a problem having both a para lepre and a para blood ruby in the same inventory. You have to stash the lepre to gain the damage boost from the blood ruby.

You can also equip 2 para gem items on one character and if you remove one the sparkle effect vanishes even tho one para item is still equipped.

Not really, I believe there is no law stating where we can place our paracelcus stone.
