What skills passives and powers should I use for sorcerer I just started so I know nothing, just doing random stuff

This is my build,however, people may build differently:

All points go to INT.

Passive: All 5/5 for Crit,Dex,INT,STR

5/5 Fireball
3/5 Ice (no Ice Wielder/ Arctic shatter)
4/5 Time Shift (no time bomb)
4/5 Light (no shock)
4/5 Shield (no wave)

* When Elite, use Fire, Ice, Time Shift, and Shield to Kill Mobs.
* When come to Elite Boss, use Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Shield
Basically, You switching Time Shift and Lightning for Mobs and Boss

Heres my choice..

All base points in int.
passives: full knowledge might agility and crit.

skills: Fire 5.
Wind 2 only speed improve.
Lightning 3 taking 15% dmg and 250% on crit.
Timeshift 4 not taking exploding.
Frost 3 taking stun imp and dmg over time. Now u have 3 points to use where best, i use this as base and tweek it now and again. Full frost now, but dont like it and will take stun in wind and light next time i respec. I swap out timeshift for lightning on boss in elite and frost for lightn on normal maps.

These are good suggestions but if this is your first character I'd seriously consider specing in Lifegiver because it will save you a lot of gold.

Life giver bad for pve

use life giver on easy/moderate maps save u a lot of potion. (heal-frost-fire-clock)
or full attack spell for faster run such as KM3. (frost, fireball, gale/lighting, clock)
hard map (shield-frost-fire-clock)
elite boss (shield-frost-fire-lightning)

I found gale+speed upgrade is useful if you dont have good gear / money. its ok if you dont use ank in normal map.

i help low level friends with their quest a lot, so I have both shield and heal.

dont take DoT upgrade specially fireball DoT if you like to run elite, you'll attract more mobs to attack you and makes warrior harder to pull them.
