Do Archer Skills get Complimented because of Stats?

I want to try and see if full/high str would be good for anything. But before I try, I want to know if my skills will suffer because of low DEX. Is this true? If there is a guide, please provide me a link.

I would assume that the amount of damage a skill produces may be affected, however, don't quote me on that as I'm not all that certain.

Though, I would recommend not wasting your platinum. I have had a go at 50/50 for Str and Dex as well as more Str (80%) than Dex (20%) and neither compare to the amount of damage, oh, and fun I've had with pretty much pure Dex.

Since the implementation of stat driven skills, archer damage skills gain damage from Dex (enchantress skills from Int, and bear skills from Str). A full Str bird would be terrible. For a warbird, you want to max Dex while keeping Str just high enough to use Str gear.
