Not fair!!!! 15 minute break over! 4.5 hrs until I get off! If I could get away with it I would stomp my feet, cry and whine until I could go home now! So far I like what I see. Alot of quests...I had to ditch my 400 snowballs and 500 yeti pelts to make room. I'll regret that later :(

Try killing/restarting the app. If that doesn't work, try restarting your device. If that doesn't work, try opening any web page in a browser and then try logging in.

Not a big issue but I noticed in the map with golddust, I think bandit hideout or something along that line, that there is a pile of gold on the ground, at the beginning. I target this spot for no reason! No mob, barrel or chest there!! Like I said no big deal! Just annoying!

Crafting recipes should be a one time price. Having to pay 10 plat everytime I want to make a leather panel isn't appropriate imo especially since it says "buy recipe".

Just went through all items in the auction house level 51 and above, and it scares me. It looks like there was little investment in weapon and armor modeling. Literally 100% of the armor I went through was the exact same model. I hope the armor changes as the levels go up, otherwise we will all look like an army of knight that walked out of the looking glass (Alice in Wonderland...)

Can I vote for a method to change the color of gems on weapons? A pink or purple sword is not what I want to be rocking. If not I may take an orange weapon and craft the heck out of it. Orange is better looking than pink. Black would be pleasurable.

Random question on another topic. When do level 52 and higher items drop? Are drops based on your level, such that when I'm 54 I will loot 55 items? If that is the case then do the bosses difficulty get harder as players get higher?

I have to say though, the crafting costs are kind of crazy to me. If everything I hear is correct, crafting a level 55 top piece of gear costs 60 plat, so a full set is like 240p. That means if I level 4 characters I'll need 1000 plat just to get them all top gear. It would be one thing if it was a vanity purchase for looks only. The devs used to proudly state in the old days that you couldn't buy your way into the best gear, an now, unless I'm missing something, it is not only possible but required. I guess that's been changing for a while, with the new low level pink packs, etc, but I'm saddened to see it happen at the cap, and somewhat stunned by the costs. Can someone please tell me there's something I've missed?

Ok, heres my feedback.


At first, i entered the town, looked around, and then went to explore the levels...
I found the cockroach fun, as with other bosses, but, as i looked at the items, and the things i was so furiously smashing... i kinda... just saw... bleh.
I couldve sworn these weapons were just recolored versions of normal items, which they kinda were..

Next i saw the goblin mobs, same as the balefort ones, i found that terriblely lame....
THEN, the WORST PART EVER THAT MADE ME FALL OFF THE BED, knock over my sidetable lamp, burst the bulb, catch my curtains on fire, and scorch half my room, was... The crafting.... All i saw was plat plat and... more plat, the thing i looked forward to most, was... horrible... ive never really.. complained about your pricing.... but, you guys have always said, you cant buy the best gear (and bragged about that aspect) but ive heard that full 55 crafting costs... 240 plat?!??!? sorry, but overall... the update kinda gets a thumbs down... sorry for being so negative.

I'll get this posted on the official thread, as I'm kinda sad about it.

First up, the good:
- New area looks EXCELLENT. Gold Fever is a nasty gentleman. Hard to solo even the trash. Gold drops look okay so far...about 3-5x Shadow. Why is the gold terrible in Shadow, anyway?
- Speaking of which, Shadow Caves on the main map was probably a good move. It's still hard as hell.

And now...the not so good:
- I have spent a fair amount of money on PL between mine and my girlfriend's accounts, and I've had no qualms about doing so. The pricing on the crafting system is AWFUL as is. Recipes need to come as rare boss drops, and instructions purchased once need to remain purchased and not be consumed upon use. I'm fine with paying for stuff...I just don't want to pay for all sorts of the same thing over and over again. I didn't mind the component section in the Plat Store, because at least I could use in game gold for those. Take a look at my account, devs: I'm not rich. I'd work for that money. :p
- Making the best pieces of EQ crafted platinum-only pieces? Against my understanding of PL and STS entirely. This doesn't seem like something you guys would do. I have to wonder if you've all been kidnapped and replaced with AO3 aliens. :(
- The rings need to drop. Plat only purchase for an entire class of equipment that actually affects gameplay could upset game balance (not that I care about PvP) and makes me sort of sad. I was so sad I bought one and cried like a chubby kid with an empty half gallon container of Rocky Road. Not cool, STS. :( On the plus side, I'd sell my uncle for more M/s, so this may just be exploitation... ;) Still...multi-colored rings that drop in boss fights and crummy ones that drop from trash, just like everything else. Please. Very important...if only for the excitement of a new player finding a shimmering trinket in the forest. I'm not even being selfish here. :)
- When I lock a game and restrict its level, my Level 21 friend can still wander in. Any thoughts on this? (tested twice earlier this evening)

That's all I have. I am a loyal PL player/fan and will continue to be as such, but these changes need to be at least considered. Don't worry...you guys will still get a pile of money from me regardless. I'd just rather not spend it on one-time-use digital permissions.

I haven't been playing the game for very long and I've recently forked out a load of money to you guys to buy all the game features and maps (I was instantly impressed with how STS didn't charge platinum for the best items, paying one off fees for map packs is the best approach).

I have about 80 platinum left from my newbie spending spree. This will be gone in seconds if I try Crafting (Recipes should be one time purchases ... why would I throw a way a recipe after using it once). Which means I will need to buy more platinum. Which means in the short time I've been playing Pocket Legends it's costing me more than my World of Warcraft account. Now, don't get me wrong I think PL is a fab game and it's very addictive, but it's not on the same scale as WoW yet and I won't pay more for PL than WoW.

You could just say that I can ignore crafting if I want, but why should I? I don't have to ignore it in WoW, it's part of the game, and I want to play the whole game.

Its update day and I don't even want to login because I know how miffed I'll be because I can't do all the crafting like I wanted to. There's a good chance I may quite PL now which saddens me because the investment in platinum I've already bought is wasted now. I'm hoping that your better judgement will kick back in and the dollar signs will dis-appear from your eyes... Don't make an awesome content update a way to fleece your paying customers.

All in all it is an excellent update. The things I like less are the following:

1- Crafting is way expensive considering the results.
2- Difficulty level is very interesting for the hardcore gamer but may deter the more casual player (this may be a good thing not sure). Also makes it real hard for those of us who did not farm for gear or gold. Perhaps this was why the shadow caves initially dropped so much gear?
3- Too much bling on standard crowns! Crown of persistence should stand out more (maybe it does when worn?)
4- I still do not have a squirrel suit. This is my main grief and is, of course, unacceptable.

The remainder of the update is simply amazing! Good job to everyone at STS. Cheers!

The good:
- the new maps are coool. Love the new sounds, the boss fights are fun
- you fixed the shadow caves issue by opening up the map, i see a lot of instances running now
- daily quests are a cool idea

The bad:
- the plat purchased crowns all seem to lower my stats a lot lol
- crafting needs better instructions, currently I don't get what I'm doing

The ugly:
- I will not pay that much for crafting, it is ridiculous. If you want to charge a one time fee to open the skill up, i'd pay 5 dollars max. Right now it seems very not worth it.

Otherwise the new content is excellent!

Zuras: those are not issues we can do anything about, as they have nothing to do with our game in particular. If you use the direct download link rather than the Android Market you shouldn't have those problems.

2) Will crafting ingredients/recipe drops allow players to craft most of the available items without platinum?

3) In both cases, will there be drops that provide items that you can't get via the store? (As well as store items that can't be found via drops.)

4) Is STS still committed to the general principle of "you can't just buy the best loot in the game"?

Market for sure. I had a similar problem...

This is for a Samsung captivate but the procedure is the same for my Viewsonic G-Tablet (rooted and flashed with TnT). I had to sideload PL from some obscure reason. My HTC phone, on the other hand, worked like a charm!

Agree with everyone else. The plat costs of crafting is too much. I'd like for recipes to at least be obtainable by gold.

I'd also like some rings to be obtainable by gold. Even if it just has 1 or 2 stats - I would pay gold for just 1 m/s :) but I don't really want to spend anymore plat. I think these things should be included with the cost of the dungeon. Plat should be for vanity and extras, not things that make you way more powerful than someone else.

difficulty :I find my bird's survivability outrageous. I don't really miss your old yellow aliens but you knew, then, you were in the highest lvl maps. But since you raised the xp required... I guess it's ok. Would have preferred the opposite... Maybe. Just wondering what will we do with our top notch gear ? Soloing I guess, or speed-clearings. I'll know when I get there.
Wont say yet how I feel about crafting, except that we should have a bit of serious in game help content, to answer at least some basic questions. Hope I didn't miss it.
Not sure I fancy the designs, provided what I saw so far will be the top gear. but then it's only my taste
Gold... Well old subject... Kinda swing with the idea that the more you lvl the more you need, hence the more you get... Still don't understand choices and why ao2 -ao3 - BS have nothing in common, but it's your call anyway so... Right now i'd say we'll need more for the sake of being predictable.


Some harsh feedback on this thread as always, but there's some untold gratitude too, for everything aspect that wasn't mentioned.

Great update on almost all. The main problem I see is that recipes have to be bought each time and there are enough of them to cost a lot of plat.


Aren't these going to be available as drops or rewards? i thought they were going to be a fun new thing to seek out, rather than another thing to buy.

Everything went well with the update except for the price of crafting. I think an option that lets us pay with gold should be offered for some of the recipes. 10 plat for 1 recipe is a bit steep IMO. Overall, good update. I Just hope to see crafting become free.

I'd like all the crafting items that cost plat to be available for gold. Even if it costs over a million gold for each set. I really don't want to have to pay any plat unless it's vanity.

Same with rings, like I mentioned above. If even just one or two-stat rings were available for gold I'd buy them. Then if the premium ones were available for -alot- of gold, I'd buy them.

I spent a lot of time building my gold and if I could use it to craft and buy rings, I'd be really happy with that. It shouldn't be that people who can afford everything with real money get such an advantage.

Great update, You guys hit a grand slam, the new levels are nice and linear and gameplay flows well. Boss fights are really neat and have very nice twists to them. Scaled drops are good, making lower level pinks worth something and good to have on your way leveling up (kudos to new leveling curve). Also, the fact that oranges, greens, and purps are relevant and not just liquidation material is sweet. Crafting appears to be a great addition once the cost issue is worked out. Thank you very much for bear combo and RINGS. You guys did a great job balancing the new addition. Love the new quests and the daily quests, fun. All this for only 10 plat, great deal.

A couple suggestions:

-Drop rate seems a bit to low. More then one pink drop every three or four levels (100 games or so?) would be more reasonable.
-Would you please, please, have an option to open up more then three quest slots, even if I have to buy an extra quest slot for 5p)
-How about an afk button? It can be clicked on when going afk and peeps that pm you will get an instant message (customizable)

Pink Drops should be Rare so the drop rate is fair but where are the junk items are they all Yellow and Green??? Mostly Yellow seems to me...which is strange. I think the bosses should drop a purple every time a pink every 200 times or something.

Positive: Well i found it very extream to fight against our own species but it was very amusing and clever, I liked that.
Crafting- After todays update i started to see some point in crafting rather than throwing all my plat away in recipes.
Gear- Very nice makes me look rich XD. Maybe adjust the stats(mostly the armor issues)

Negative: The Extra 6th skill rank:( -I really don't want to use alot of respecs on my 3 twinks as Im not used to the new change nor the majority of others. Perhaps you could give us some free respecs for 2 days like kossi said or grant each toon 1 respec to use within 3 days etc.
Bandit King and Queen: HAvnt tried other bosses that were made stronger but I can tell you the queen is like a rock! Way too much hp like idk 30,000+?!?
Valentines Weps: Not very good stat wise, even the int pinks only give 1m/s....

Overall: Great job, would like to see hp of queen go down and maybe some respecs to adjust. Also will there be a boss dungeon like VL and pvp map? I hope so and that guilds come next.

Edit: Sorry for complaining but I really don't like the fact that we cannot loot any junk items to liquidate from the mobs:( All these pots and many deathes from Fire Traps(So we have to buy tank pots) are too expensive. Forgot to mention I HATE FIRE TRAPS! When I get revved, I die straight away from blast, the crit dmg is just too high:800! Plus It doesnt really affect the mob unfairly... I think it would be great if we got full hp after respawning or be invinsible for 3 secs as this is just to darn hard on our deathes.

Does Crit mean Critical and I have got all sorts of stuff from crafting missions per the blacksmith only in Dungeon 1 I went back gained no exp :confused: and I can not do anything with all these crafting Items?:confused: I would like a better bow that has a higher damage rating other than that excellent!!!;) I think I play alot I am just still a rookie though so if anyone has any pointers friend me Archer-Josephba

I love the update it was needed but the new armor is not at all what I imagined it would be. I was hoping for sets like rift,void and cosmos if there are plans to add this it would be a perfect update.

1 week after the update, and i must say Great update.
I like the sounds in the new dungeons, and again new bosses and tactics to kill them.

But... after 1 week you see most people going back to Keepers runs to get lvls up. There is something wrong.
Up the XP in the sewers, its a 50+ area. you should get the best XP in the game and to encourage people, let the game drop more and better.

Ive only see 2 pinks drops (for others), it was on the first day, and 1 of them with a luck potion. Increase it pls!
Who cares that everyone gets the item. We all want it right, there should be a guaranteed drop for at least 1 person in the team.
And the random drops at normal enemy... never had an item... can they drop stuff?
