2) provide whats hot news in AL Isn't that what the Announcement section are for? Not to mention Forum Insiders.
3) give us info. Usually in Announcement section too.

can interview different players >> irrespective of anything << This is interresting, maybe they can interrview pros about PVP or PVE.

Only problem. AL is still using letters and horse-drawn wagons. So no news channel, maybe a newsletter at best.

Besides Samhayne already posts a monthly one anyways.
