Respec refunds

How did you determine how much plat to refund me?
We refunded as many respec purchases as possible, starting with the 5-pack, then single until you had no remaining unused respecs.

Examples:
You had 10 unused respecs from 2 5-respec purchases. You are refunded 20 Platinum.
You had 8 unused respecs from 2 5-respec purchases. You are refunded 20 Platinum.
You had 4 unused respecs from 2 5-respec purchases. You are refunded 10 Platinum.
You had 2 unused respec from 2 single respec purchases. You are refunded 10 Platinum.
You had 1 unused respec from a single respec purchase. You are refunded 5 Platinum.
You had 2 unused respecs from no respec purchases (grants). You lost those respecs.

I had 3 respecs left from a 5 pack purchase and those disappeared and I don't believe I gained any plat in return. Weird.

You won't see the respec refund listed as a line item. We treated the refunds as if you never purchased them in the first place (so you should have just seen a larger Platinum balance). Check your Account Details in game for what you purchased since 1.7 was released.

This requires a lot of reading between the lines, you know. The nearest I can tell, this means I ended up getting charged 5 plat for each of the respecs I used from that batch, which is the same as the price I paid for the batch, thus my plat balance stayed the same. Is that right? 'Cause it sure isn't obvious from what you've said, and it's no wonder people are confused.

Of course, retroactively making something you purchased more expensive is illegal in the real world…

We never deduct Platinum if there's a price increase. Yes, it's confusing about how the refunds were made, but we were (and always have been) fair and generous when it comes to refunds.

Except that when I bought the package of 5, it was 10 plat, or 2 plat per respec. So I was kind of expecting a refund of 6 plat. Instead I got nothing—effectively got charged 5 plat for each of the 2 respecs I used.

So is it that we are no longer allowed to respec because I no longer see that option in the store. I had 3 respec tokens left that i was planning to use to respec my char back after testing out some builds. Now i can't respec any longer. Clarification please?
