Armor for tank

I was wondering I'm fairly new to this game, so please forgive noob questions lol
I'm about ready to hit level 30 and I'm still using hellish armor from lvl 26. My question is the armor bundles you can buy with platinum worth it? I bought the lvl 25 one and was unimpressed with stats, but the armor at CS. Is outrageously priced.

Absolutely NOT worth it!

Buy Druid/Spirit/Necroptic armor instead.

If youre not looking for assault/potency sets you can find druid/necro/living spirit sets pretty nicely priced

Conserve your plat for better things the cs has good items for getting by for affordable prices and once you levelled a few levels past the current gearbox are using sell the gear and buy the next level items

Thanks guys... I have another noob question lol. What do you mean by assult/potency set and since I'm working on building a true tank would it help?

Most my experience comes from playing wow there I was mainly dps, so tanking is somewhat new to me.

Potency gear gives strenght-int and high mana.
Assault gear gives strenght-dex wich adds higher damage and some crit but it doesn't add mana.

use potency gear because of the extra mana. And it has decent damage too.

Yes, for pure tanking it is the best. Just told him to use pot bc of the extra mana to save some money on pots :)

Ok I thought so. Also I find if you use Vengeful Blood you don't have to pot mana much anyways but my War is only 19 atm.

When i was lvl 30 i used tarlok armor and entombed warfare i dont know if its still good .
