I was under the impression that we would still be able to respec but we would have to buy specifically a respec for either skills or stats. Or was I mislead and we can not respec at all?

Oh, I can't seem to figure out where to buy the item. In character, I only have option to buy character slots.

You don't buy an item... on either your stats page or skills page, there is a respec button. On the skills, it's right about the map skills thing. On the stats, I'm assuming, didn't look.
