Just need a party with lots of damage, and need to kill him as fast as possible. Trying the slow and gradual approach will not work as the vines will just keep multiplying until they are all over the place.

I'd suggest you include a Mage in your pt to atleast deal with the vines

Use a mage with timeshift to seperate the boss and vines. For me the best party here is 2 mage 2
tanks 0.o when that unarmed punch comes up move fast.

try stun pets. coordinate arcane in a chain, agree among urselves who stuns 1st.

if u're using that tank/3 rogue combo - tank can lure the vines up top. rogues kill boss lower, spread out a little.

just one method hv fun experimenting

Stun pets and sometimes 2 warrior is easier as one tanks and the other tanks the vines. You will still need some anks.

1 Mage, 1 War, 1 Rogue - Rogue and War bring the boss to the bottom of the map, while the Mage uses Frost and Clock to keep the vines up near the throne. While they are frozen, rooted, take potshots at the boss using Lightning. Regardless you are going to die - a lot.

The most easy is that all the party have kelvin for stun and a good tank

You really need to dps the boss down as quickly as possible so the vines don't spawn out of control. Trying to kill the vines is pointless... just target the boss, keep moving on the other side of the vines, and be ready for some unfair deaths.

I personally find the boss does a lot more stone throwing and cheap one-hits when you take him off the platform. The best runs I've had have been keeping him up top. Unfortunately very few tanks have any real ability at taunting even with taunt skills specced in, so finding a good one to keep the vines under control is the hardest part of the deal.

So it appears that Dam Reduc and Dam elix are pretty much a pre-requisite to even standing a chance against the hits this thing dishes out.

Also, a stock of 200 ankhs is recommended.

elite endgame.

not for the faint of heart, err I mean wallet.

Need warrior, 2 rogues and one mage.

Warrior if can have arcane maul better (for stuns) and use kelvin also when u see big red circle run away, its a skill like ursoth and can kill u easy. When we aarm punch take care he gonna kill u easy in one hit.

Rogues whit kelvin or one kelvin other slag and try focus to shoot the boss only cause if u shoot vines kelvin gonna attack and stun vines, also stay away as u can. NO PIERCER, veil can be good and arrow skills.

Mage use slag and ur work is kill mobs (vines), also stay away from boss like rogues. skills fire, clock ice and shield can be good.

U can clear that boss whit a good geared ( mythic/arcane weapons ) party whit 20 ankhs.

!!If u dont have mythic or arcane weapon better go farm, make money and buy one :encouragement:

Thank you for ur suggestions
I also heared some rumours that new mythic pendant recipe drops from tomb3 boss. Is it?

That is a Rumour.

Recipe only has a small chance to drop from the arena master at the end of the 4th boss of an arena run

Problem with stun pets is, once the vines start multiplying, the stun pets go and stun the vines, which is kind of useless. For me what has worked, is that all party members who have samael use it in the hopes that vines will get banished.

My preferred party is 2 mages 2 rogues. With this party I would have run this map in about 20 minutes and using only 2 ankhs (unrealistic number cuz I got lucky and boulders rarely were shot at me). Then of course, the boss reset when I was about 6 combos away from killing it. What we did was mages fight the vines in the circle at the top (they both had samael, neither of the rogues did), and rogues just nuke boss and keep it from going up. If the vines seemed to get too many in number, 1 rogue would go up, kill vines till it was controllable while the other kept the boss down, and then go back to nuking tanks. I used slag for the movement speed to dodge boulders and it gives decent damage too. Before the vines started spawning I was using Kelvin, but soon it started stunning vines instead of boss, so I switched it to increase my damage output.

It worked pretty well and the runs have been pretty decent in terms of time when I run with good mages. When we killed boss, I rerolled for a locked crate, raged and shut the browser, but till then this has seemed pretty effective and actually made the 3rd boss worth farming for me.

I'm always looking for new tricks, so if you have any please spill. :)

Sure, stick to what works for u. But just so u know, u've pretty much help describe the difference between a 12-min run and a 20 min run. ;)

No tricks, when we overanalyse it tends to make runs longer I find. My best runs have been simple runs
