Android Avatar spotted

I searched for this but got nothing. I saw an avatar walking around the lost exp and he was the android guy... I asked in game and was told to wave at them for antenna's? Is this a Dev thing?

There are a few players who got android costumes as a prize for a promotion when the android client was released. You probably saw one of them since I haven't seen a dev in the droid suit in a while.

Have not seen one of the androids in a while. They used to show up in towns where ppl needed to wave at them to get the green antennas. Also, there is a guy that can dress up as an android since he won some kind of contest.
