Do full str way is crap?

But seriously all I did was invest in defensive skills and heal and then ran around and tried to make people rage at me. Three L51 Pallys couldnt kill me, Bears couldnt kill me alone even with dex and birds eventually got me after I made a tiny mistake by healing too early and they hit thorn wall.
