View Full Version : Is crafting the new 'buy gold from plat store'?

Am I correct that you can buy what you need to craft a level 5 or 15 pink using plat, then sell it in the CS for a nice price, or am I missing something? Might have to spend some plat to find out, not that I need gold or would ever buy it, but I am really curious if that is what this is.
Looks like I was WRONG!
You can't buy the gems, you have to find those, so this is not a simple way to 'buy gold'. Thank God!!!

weirdly, it costs more to make one piece of lv10 armour, than to buy the entire lv10 legendary pack.

But what is that cost compared to buying '100K in gold'. Because nothing in the legendary pack is trade able.

BTW, i only have 2mil. It was just a huge overexaggeration. :D but i would pay 25 mil if it was the price.

Update, you can NOT buy all the items, you need to find the gems!

Oh, and I saw gems and recipes for sale in the CS. I bought a recipe to make sure I could not sell it (I could not), so all the crafting items in the CS store are lootable. Also, all the materials required (like bolts or rope) can be bought with Plat OR Gold. So it is not all bad.
Not sure, but was just worried about this.
Having to buy some items = annoying.
Being able to use 100 Plat to make an item and sell for 500K = game ruiner. So luckily that is not the case.

Wow I guess us cheapskates are lucky that others like you are willing to buy plat items just to test a theory. That is hardcore, man!

10 plat, and bought a level 5 warrior armor recipe that I might eventually use. But not for a long long time as I don't plan on using plat to buy any of the other things with it ;)

Someone could make a ton of gold off of plat without entering a dungeon by buying up raw materials for the craftable ingredients for the level 55 pink recipes (small gold or plat investment), pay the plat to have them crafted into the item needed in the pink recipe, and selling them to 55s without the plat to craft themselves. That is, if they are tradeble. Are crafted items and crafted ingredients tradable?
The materials which you bought with plat are tradable. The actual finished and polished form however is not. Btw, you can make a lot of money off this. How do I know? I sold a material that required plat for 200k.

did that material require loot? and I was not able to sell the 'recipee', so what did you make with with that you could sell?
