Assuming things and posting them as fact is a dangerous practice. If the assumption is true, that means the situation with STS is much worse than anyone thought.

However, Remiem stated on chatbox earlier today that they ran a simulation and the recipe does drop, just much too rarely, so they are "revising" the rate on it.

Makes one wonder who knows how much and which ambiguous statements are true.

I must say I give benefit of the doubt... I feel like release was attempted... but it did nonetheless fail, causing us to farm arena and spend ankhs/plats to reach boss 4 which we probably would not have spent had we been informed of the rarity of this item upfront.

The whole new content is set up to farm this.... why would anyone expect the recipe itself to be this rare?

I went on record to say no fossil exists and before planar was released said the same thing about recipe. They want you to spend tons of money so handing out the fossil and recipe is bad business according to them. This is why I told guildies to 'hold their horses' and just farm essences instead.

I feel they have a quota of how many plats need to be purchased before they put the fossil or recipe in the chests.

Just as they are unannounced adjustments to game mechanics there are probably also unannounced drop nerfs and likely drop buffs.

This a big problem, STS want that rich player spend a lot of plat while the recipe are not in loot tablet, but look in a weekend StS will put a double chance of recipe but there is the solution, because that day they in the loot tablet add the recipe.

The problem now is that our confidence is shot. No matter what a dev comes back with there is going to be doubt, and suspicion as to if it's true. Something got messed up along the line of communication within the mods/devs. No one has seen or heard of anyone looting a recipe and by now there should be at least 1 or 2, even with arcane rarity.

Now it looks like they were just trying to cover it up and forgot to tell some to stick to the story. Why else would he say that it has not been released yet? As a mod there is no way that he missed all the "Where's the Recipe" threads on the forum since Friday. With there being no recipes it points strongly to him being right.

STS needs to refund ALL ankhs spent from the release on Thursday as well as elixirs. No one wants to think bad of STS, and they are allowed to make errors. But that also should include a responsibility in making things right by not only fixing the content but also returning the money that was spent while the product was faulty.

Not everyone can afford or are willing to spend money to do this type of content so they probabaly hold back the recipe to generate the income.

Milk the spenders till they slow down their spending and then put the recipe in at a low drop rate to increase spending again. Pretty good scam and players have no way to prove it.

I noticed some people jumped to conclusions that Derezzed is trying to start a witch hunt.
Although I cannot guarantee the timing of the screenshots, but we can be rest assured that STS did screw things up in past(forgetting to implementing the 2x mythic while their demo server had 2x mythic). One should clearly take this latest example.
The 2x incident could also have been called a fraud incident but since sts did pay up for the losses(as far as i remember twice the actual amount) everyone agreed to forget it.
But as of recently many ninja updates are getting in and there is no way to know which update is causing what. So probably someone is now gonna get a recipe and then think that what der wrote was probably a hoax. But is it really?
Also nobody is trying to put any mod in trouble. If for anything we r glad that sao did agree that some content is not yet released.
But do we know what is not released? No. And are we still content with it? Guess some will always be .

Alright folks. I apologize for the confusion here. The recipe for the mythic amulet, along with all of the other Planar Tombs content IS in game and IS in the drop table. We have acknowledged that the drop rate is quite low, which we will be revising in the very near future. But your time and effort is not wasted. I repeat, the recipe IS IN GAME.
