dagger and shield or xbow

What is better, the best dex shield and the best dagger, or the best xbow. The dagger probably does more dps, but it is melee while xbows are ranged. The best xbow is the sniper bayou bow right?

Dagger does a bunch more dps.. But when you factor in the horrible melee auto attack and the constant chasing of the monster you are trying to kill, it might be around the same.

Snipers Bayou Bow is the best bow, but only by the tiniest amount. Not enough to warrant me giving up a very nice pink to get one. The only reason they are expensive it because of their demand.

IMO and IME bow has more advantages over dagger that even cancel out the shield added to the dagger wielders.

I don't use auto attack, I tap thebattack button. But I just don't like running around. And I hve the bayou bow eagle. But a shield would potentially add another 5 or 7 dex, 2hs and 3 crit?if I find a pink dagger, I'm probaby gonna end up using it. Not sure yet

Anyways, I have been wanting to try out a dagger and shield archer, just waiting to hit lvl 19 to use my equipment. Can't wait for lvl 35 to use my pink Talon weapons, which I think can be equiped with a shield... right?
