What do all beggers have in common? They love to say please about a million times. Please (pun intended) add a feature that will mute an account that PMs "please" "pls" "plz" or any other variation after so many times within a timeframe. Usually its about 5-10 times in a minute...

lol..."please" add "can I have gold or item" (and variations of that like G0ld, Go1d, g00old, ltem, iitem, ltems, itemz, ect...) it would be nice to have it automatically detect the use of a certain phrase, because then beggars will come up with other ways to ask for money...wish there is a 1 gold give beggar option. :)

Whoa glad you noticed our plight. I usually just ignore, but recently they have became so persistent in pm that I have to manually type all those name to ignore list.
Could I make a suggestion to have a special ignore list called "beggar/ bugger/ nuisance" and ADD that to a special Arcane Legends database.
I've been suspecting they have a secret beggar "underground ring network" going on.

PS. I've encountered "demanding" beggars that don't even use the word "please" anymore. Give me 2 eggs. Trade! Give!!!

Sometimes they threaten to report me if i dont give them gold...no clue what the reason would be.. but it makes me lul

The best way to go about this would be an option to not receive PM's/trades from non friends. Selective wording can bypass any spam filter once the beggers learn about it.

What about "Ffs"?

If "FFS" were mutable, I'd have been perma-banned a long time ago :-P

EX:
FFS he DC'd
FFS glitchy zone
FFS respawn on ice
FFS I'm such a noob today
FFS missed LB by 0.2 seconds!
FFS, locked -.-

As beggars are annoying sometimes, but its not a real problem. There are a lot of problems, bugs, glitch and balance issues in game that need to focus more with than this.
Ignoring them, simply disregard the PMs or answering "no" works but this may have a ripple on your AL carreer in the future.
-An example is: There was a beggar (who will not be named) who PMed me and trades me just to begg when I was starting in game, I was rude because I was annoyed with him. After two seasons I meet that beggar again and this time I was shocked and a little embarrased. He remembers me (and I remember him) and still was nice to me, now his full mythic, had a couple of arcane rings, arcane weapons, arcane pets (he was using his SnS that time) and was the guild master of a well known guild. He was down to earth guy even though I was rude at him when he had none. That day I learned a leason, "A beggar today may become someone you need tomorrow, so treat everyone with respect and enthusiasm."

Let me share you guys a fable from Aesop

Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him. "Pardon, O King," cried the little Mouse: "forgive me this time, I shall never forget it: who knows but what I may be able to do you a turn some of these days?" The Lion was so tickled at the idea of the Mouse being able to help him, that he lifted up his paw and let him go. Some time after the Lion was caught in a trap, and the hunters who desired to carry him alive to the King, tied him to a tree while they went in search of a waggon to carry him on. Just then the little Mouse happened to pass by, and seeing the sad plight in which the Lion was, went up to him and soon gnawed away the ropes that bound the King of the Beasts. "Was I not right?" said the little Mouse.

Well, flashy people with firebug, arcane pets, shiny particle effects ranging from arcane rings to para gems are Begging the beggars to annoy them. LOL
You don't want to be annoyed by beggars?
1. Ignore them
2. Disregard "beg PMs"
3. Don't flash your shiny "jewelries" on towns to show off
4. Maintain a positive attitude about them.

Its very simple, and I don't need to "smoke" anything just to think otherwise. :)

Lastly, devs had DC issues, Bugs, Glitches and Balancing issues to focus more. Than this simple things that don't really affect the game it self. :)

Begger has invited you to party. Begger has sent you a friend request. Begger says pls pls pls pls. Begger has offered to trade with you. Its beyond obnoxious. So far as ignoring? Even with the new chat system you can still xsend a tell to a begger which adds fuel to the fire. Its not usually one person either.

Im so glad this isnt a problem for you, but i find these zombies annoying as hell. ^^ Especially when its 3-4 at once. Ignore ignore ignore. And a lot of times i cant type out their entire name with 10 xxxxlllhirpoppopx. Its not cool -.-

His just defending the minority of the AL population that may have potencial for great things, no need the call names or anything.

BTW, I'm annoyed with beggars too but I think Kinzmet had a point.

My suggestion was kind of a joke, but there really is no reason someone should be pming someone "please" 5-10 times in a minute. That is what my suggestion was. Saying please so many times implies BEGGING for something. To simply mute a player for it wouldnt be the end of the world. Itd just minimize the begging.

At least itd force them to say something a bit more creative. I dont get why people post on here to argue for the sake of arguing. Its qlmost as annoying as the beggers ;)

Easy there fellah! Most of the time someone will disagree with you, Its not that I'm reaching just to argue. Its just that I don't agree with it nothing more.
When you said it was kind of a joke, now I get what you mean. LOL
