125 crates and no mythic or arcane? It took me a year and a half of opening crates weekly before I got a single arcane item. I never looted mythic either until they increased mythic drop rates sometime early this year. You should be happy you got the 230 plat back. 600k gold is a good haul for that number of crates also.

Btw 125 crates is approximately 1875 plat to open, so a bit of exaggeration there. In any case, it is called gambling for a reason.

I did free offers for platinum and tried to open 5 locked, Already got Glacian on 3rd locked.
I run 3 weeks event and got 20 arcane pet Grimm.
I merched for 30 minutes and already got mythic sets ring, necklace, amor and helm.
A bout a week of meching and I got arcane maul, kershal and Elondrian bow.

I didn't even spent a single dollar, is it luck? Yes and No.
"Yes" lucky to loot Glacian in 3rd locked crate from "free" platinums, but the rest is "NO" because it came from hardwork and a lot of farming and merching.

Don't blame the devs or the game system it self from unluckiness, you knew even before opening your first locked crate that it was a "gamble".

Its not a FRAUD, its a GAMBLE.

True, it is gambling. Nobody promised you would get the items you wanted by opening lockeds.
The bad thing of many lockeds is that your chance of getting myth or arcane is as big as when you just open the first one.
Unlike when opening boxes where 1 of them contains a prize, you eventually get it and the chance gets bigger each time you open one.
Every locked chest has the same amount of luck. Over and over again.
If this isn't true, then OP is right. It is a fraud. The specifications of the locked chests should specify this. But i believe they are all the same.

For those who believe opening more gives a bigger chance: even in random drops there may seem to be patterns, but that doesn't make it less random.

I do agree with OP that the price is high. I would rather spend 100usd on a pet than on a virtual pet. It happens a lot with mobile gaming lately. It's bad trend in my opinion.

the best fact about these items is "DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THEM..."

It's all luck in-game, gambling or whatever we can call, you wont know when these locks will suddenly RPG an arcane item on you. personally from my experience opening 1.1k locks never gave me an arcane item but i indeed got mythic items. Locks very rarely drop arcanes, these items very special and will ofc be rare(ik i kinda screwed up). Dont expect like within 125 lockeds you will get an arcane or more arcanes no matter how much you calculate the results will never be the same. its all luck, many ppl have opened around 600+ locks to get an arcane item even if it is the worst item ever like hammerjaw. you dont have to just gamble on those lockeds. go gamble on something like EVENT LOCKS they always have 2x chance of mythics and arcanes!...

Opening the locks is like playing blind bets without knowing the odds of a win.

To answer you question, casinos publish clearly the odds of winning and this is called as gambling.
