Daily quest: ancient planar essence?

Hey guys,

Im really curious and im not sure about this but, we get a daily quest after completing planar tombs and we will get 10 ancient planar essence a day.

Whats the use of ancient planar essence? To craft mythic pendant? If yes, after we craft our new pendant whats the use of this daily quest and 10 essence per day?

Is it suppose to be fragment? Maybe 10 fragment is better than 10 essence?

Essences can be used to buy items from the planar npc ( ingots for example )

Essences can also be used in "cleansing the boss essence " from planar arena which is required to craft the "NEW" " MYTHIC" pendant

Ancient planar essence - just part of myth pendant? And we get it daily? Or not?

Ancient planar essence = you use it to cleanse the 3 bosses essence/gem from planar arena, eg. glob rutger and frostir.
Planar Fragments = like dragkin tooth that you need to buy from the planar merchant.

Here's what might be the answer u need,

Ancient Planar essence> used for refining the Glob,Rutger,Frostir essences(planar relic required);

To obtain fragments, you will see a crystal, in 2 pieces one would be floating and the other under the floating one, any member in the PT who goes and clicks on it grants a fragment to everyone in the zone! thats the crystal which GateKeeper Haxx asks you to do "activate the crystal in tomb 1/2/3!"

Ancient Planar essence and Planar Fragments are not the same, Fragments are the tokens for the NPC/Vendor whereas Essences is a part for your crafting of the New Planar Amulet

the daily quest is like a boost so thatt you can get closer to the mythic pendant and also to craft the boss essences quickly than simply nonstop farming tombs where you can only get 1-2 ess. per run. it becomes irritating when u school, office work etc. This makes it impossible to get your pendant

I was hoping for them to add some sort of gem that can be crafted from it. Or make the merchant NPC trade them off for fragments (eg. 100 planar essence for 50 fragments).

Just go to planar tombs gatekeeper haxx...he gives it after the planar tombs 3 quest completion...

U have to run tomb 123 right

Quest is taken from gatekeeper hax indeed. You will get 10 essences after killing 3 planar bosses, doesn't matter which. They also drop from bosses or mobs.

You need essences to craft the planar pendant but you can also use 15 essences to craft one fragment

When you enter the tombs there's a guy by the junction in the middle of the corridor who hands out the quest, and will give you 10 planar essences for killing 3 bosses in the tombs.
