how much armor point should I have to tank well in different area/level range?

it would be great if i can have a brief idea whether my armor class is too low or not.

thanks!!

I assume you mean for warrior? Well... 130+ armor is a MINIMUM along with 700 health+, with Evade, Taunt, Rage, and Iron Blood all MAXED, not to mention debuffs (Crushing Blow and Hell Scream)

Parth, correction. Taunt is NOT a must. I find the 6 dodge very wasteful. Invest the skill points elsewhere, like Crushing Blow.

PvP maybe, PvE it works like a charm though. Especially vs Gold Fever guy now :)

So far being a tank for me it is important to do the following:
1) Keep aggro on you (3 skills important to help to this)
- Taunt, Beckon, and Stomp
2) Keep the damage to teamates at all time low
- hell screen, crushing blow.
3) Keep damage to alltime low for yourself
- Iron blood, evade

You can not keep your teammates alive if they are being hit. So you need to get it. If your (hence #1), however if they don't HIT you, the debuffs are more important than personal surviving buffs.

So in order of what I would max:
Taunt, Stomp, Beckon, Hell scream, crushing blow, iron blood, evade.

Remember that if you beckon, you can do a crushing blow, then stomp. Beckon+stomp or crushing blow+stomp is a combo.

Of course, there is the idea that if you can't keep yourself alive you might as well be useless, so some would advocate 3,1,2.

The +6 Dodge is wondeful since it costs 0 Mana, and help you dodge attacks. Also, the cool time is quicker then how fast the affects last so the dodge buff actually stacks for a few seconds (so you have +12 Dodge buff for a few seconds.

Taunt really is useful in pve... a bear not taunting is like a mage not healing.

Enemies carry a minimum damage throughout all campaigns, so even if you have 2,000 armor, they still do a certain amount of minimum damage to you. You can look here (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?18229-Pocket-Legends-Enemy-Boss-and-NPC-Compendium) though for the amount of armor you can wear to the point where the enemies start doing the smallest damage they can.

Here's an example on how to use the enemy data portion:

B'TOXX (boss) - From Alien Oasis 2
HP: 14200
ATT: 118-122
DEF: 30
Max armor: 96

96 armor is what you need to have to tank all his hits as best as possible. It doesn't make a difference if you have 100 armor, he will still do the same exact damage at 96 armor. Anything lower than 96 armor, and he'll start doing more damage to you.
