idea about in game casino

Hey arlorians, an idea just bubbled up at my mind. Its about having a mini casino ingame.

Game is more kinda based on gamble so why not introduce few games within arcane to make it more realistic fun.
Slot machine: players can gamble for jackpot hit e.g. 77777
Roulette: russian roulette. Place ur bets with gold to get wins. Minimum gold 500

What u guys think about it?

This is a 13+ game, also in games everybody can just pick a random age if he wants to.

Kraag cannon itself is a gamble fun.

The concept is more towards fun part rather than earnings or loot. This concept is based on having a sub game within a game. E.g. warcraft frozen throne patch cart racing, tower defense type.

Just imagine urslf rogues competition of archery. Mage competition for gale force runs. It could be fun isnt it?
Similary the casino concept is just a fun part for those who wants to double their bets max upto 5k gold.

Common guys dont u wanna see a small roulette machine inside ur guild hall with four guildies placing bet and chilling together? Or, a slot machine at the small cornor of the hall.

Or a juke box to change music of hall for some gold for couple of minutes.

Just a concept mate. Many games have sub games within. My idea is having something fun type within our hall to chill down together.

Literally its not more like gambling for big sums. It wont affect much if there is fun with just 300/500 gold. Its just a sub game within a hall trying a luck with fun with 4 friends sitting side by side.

My other ideas include:
Beach volleyball at paradise pier. Lol

2 players spnding 100 gold each to enter match to face 1v1. And winner get 200 gold. : )

Personally I would enjoy this as a time killer.
No friends online? Have a go at the pokies (slot machine) :D
Got friends online? Why not get together and have a little fun. It cannot hurt anyone right.
I could extend your suggestion and say it costs 20 - 50 plat to get one of these machines in a guild hall or wherever to benefit sts also :)

Guess people dont like fun these days. Its just simple sense. Jukebox, roulette, slot machines... R fun in real. Whole idea is why not implementing the fun scenario in game as well for some real feeling. Guild hall can itself be a cool place to hangout in.

People have clearly mentioned about Locked grand crates being a gamble tool and is crystal clear to everybody.
89.99$= 1700 plats where u gonna spend 15 plat each to gamble is 0.8$ around by rough calculation. And locked gamble is legal. Rofl

And here peeps r talking about 300/400 gold which is nothing to earn is an illegal act.

After all it's just suggestions. So please mention what ur thoughts about these 3s.
- jukebox at guildhall (200 gold to change background music for 3/4 minutes)
- slot machine at hall ( 50-100 gold per spin)
- roulette for 4 (max bet 5k gold)

Gambling is betting with money or items which you can gain or loose. Opening chests is always a win-win, since you always draw 3 items no matter what. The fact that you don't care about anything other than arcane or mythic is not the issue, this is a personal preference. So when you open a chest, you purchase 3 items at random which makes it not gambling.

I too consider the game heavily based on luck or "gambling".
