anyone tried this screen recorder app?

So I was searching through the google play store and found this screen recorder app called Recordable that says it requires no root. I read the reviews people posted and it had some good reviews (the other no root ones have pretty bad reviews). So I installed it and was wondering before I go ahead and do the whole setup if any of you android users have tried this one and if it worked well for you.

I am doing that I was just wondering how it went for others if they had tried it. I would've already tested it but I was visiting cousins in Maryland for the week and I just got back home last night, my laptop is actually charging as I type this so that I can do the setup.

Well it says it works with all android devices but apparently it doesn't classify a nexus 7 as an android device.

I would try it but it says it requires a root. I'm afraid to root my tablet and then end up not being able to use it.

Recordable used to work perfectly, but it just doesn't anymore. Seriously, I don't think the video actually saves anymore.

Actually I went ahead and rooted yesterday. I figured I have nothing to lose since my tablet is going to need replaced soon anyways and it seems to be a popularly thing to be done.

The free version is just a demo after it stops saving all the stuff you record so you need to pay, its obsolete to use unless you use your own money.
