How rare are pinks really

Some people claim to have 20 or so pinks on one account that isn't even level 35. Yet I brought an archer to 32, a warrior to 30, and an enchantress to lvl 26 without earning a single one. Now is this just how it works or am I just the most unlucky person. I finally got my first today tho so maybe it'll turn around :p

Your unlucky. I have 11 pinks, just counted.

Best way to earn a purple/pink is to fight bosses not run whole levels as minor enemies don't drop rare loot at all.

Most play Swamp level bye bayou, you start with 3-4 minor crocs and frogmar. In a group of 5 you can kill her in 2-3minutes essentially giving you five chances for a pink at a time, or 100 chances an hour for the group. I would wager pinks are about 1/100 as a drop rate.

Edit: speaking of which...anyone wanna farm? I'm behind my kill quota for the week :P

I unfortunately dont have a group of high leveled people to do the with so... :(

And that first pink I got today got scammed so it's not getting any better :P

If you just want to try to find some pinks and you can't find people to do the swamps with, you can always try the megamaze in fathom or the magic castle in balfort. You won't find the best items for your class, but those are still two of the best dungeons for rare loot, and you can find level 30 stuff.

My 30 stuff is okay, i'm just trying to prepare for PvP at 35 which I expect to be pretty competetive

Unluckyyy I have roughly 40+ pinks. But remember, just because they're pink doesn't mean they're any good lol. I can share too, I give them away all the time

only know of 1 pink where the purple is better, frequently though the difference is small
