Hello my fellow Alterreans!

Ever had that moment when you're just scrolling through the pages in the auction and you find an item that you need or like, but oh no! You don't have enough gold to buy it! :(

So I have an idea

Why not, add a new function to the auction page where you can add items and gold for the item you want? Somehow like... A pending request for the item you want. Because sometimes the owner of that item may not be online and you want that item desperately. For example:

L71 beastly scythe 500,000 Itanke
Your offer: 200k + ( 300k worth of items )

When the owner comes online and checks his/her auction, they'll see the offer and can decide whether or not to take that offer. If they accept it, then the item will be delivered to the person who wants to buy the item. But, if their inventory is full, the item will be sent to the stash. If the stash is also full, the person will have to make some space and the item will be transferred to them.
HOWEVER, if the owner of the item denies the offer, then the gold and items offered will be returned.

So what do you guys think of the idea? Is it good? Is it bad? Give some constructive advise on how to improve this idea. Would love to hear from you guys :D

Aside from that, I think it is a neat idea.
For one, it gives the buyer a chance to bargain for items without having to wait for the poster to be online.
Two, it increases the chance of the poster being able to actually sell the item instead of risking it being expired (no one likes those cs fees.)

This brings one flaw. What happens if the poster posts an item for 800k, and a buyer offers 750k, but then soon enough another poster posts the same item for 600k? Would the 800k poster still have the option of accepting the 750k offer before the buyer can notice that 600k post and cancel? That's my only constructive criticism :)

Anyway, if a cheaper offer comes up, then the person wanting to buy the item can cancel his offer, and offer on the cheaper one instead ^^
And yea, the buyer can still put his offer on the 800k offer but we all know not many of us would actually do that when there's a cheaper offer

What happens when the offer expires? Would the trade still be available for the seller? The trade and offer must expire at the same time cuz then after it expires, the item could drop in price and the seller would realize that and just take the buyer's offer

not that bad, but lets turn it around. for example: u put a red dragon armor into cs for gold and u can also request items for it not just gold, like 2m + the req item: alien mirage. what about that?
