Lvl Cap: 41 (require 27,500 xp to get from 40 to 41)

Yes xp is the same concept as in PL,

Other advice: Maps scale to the highest lvl player on the map (so if someone is lvl41, then the map's enemy difficulty scales to that player)

Pets are like an NPC that gives you stats, and help you in battle (My advice is if you see your pet's purple bar is getting low, try using another pet. Do Not Feed your pets...)

You still have to be pretty darn dedicated to the game (as a new player) to reach cap and do something with your toon. I would never...
