Hello, my nickname is Capitapy, and I am head of the guild Legends of Russia.
Our guild is one of several Russian guilds in the world PL. We are in an active way of life in our time zone, and preach a policy of mutual assistance and mutual support in the game.

Too many players from Russian community in need of help because they do not speak the English language very well. And for that I created a page dedicated to the game in the famous social network http://vk.com/legendsrussia.

We have over 146 unique members in the group itself, and many who have not joined the community and is a member of the guild in the game.
I and our members made a lot of guides and hints in Russian language in this group. There are sections with hints, guides, news and common questions.
This all attract new Russian speacking players. There life in the game became easier and more interesting.
The group helps people to stay in the game, and to enjoy it.

I’m spending much time in the game, but I'm afraid it is difficult to see because we're in different time zones. My post is a request, to consider the possibility of getting me the title of 'Guardian of Alterra' and Earn a Highly Exclusive Community Shield.
I will appreciate it very much. I would like to see my work, I combine with the pleasure of the game, which would be an evident to the other members of the community.

Ive resolved a scam and made the scammer give the scamed item back to its owner; reported 2 people for continues use of profanity; gave gold and potions when i can; i provided helpful feedback to devs(had to use already-there threads because some reason, this mobile app wont lemme post a thread..); reported bugs when i find them and stopped a flame war. What else do i need to do to be a GOA?thanks for reading this

What you don't want to do is this.^^^^ I wouldn't make it your goal to become a GoA. That's exactly what theyre not looking for, people who just list good deeds they did and expect a reward.

Just because you want something, and do nice things for others just for a shield, shame on you. Some people are VERY NICE and they don't even want to become a GoA. You are chosen by Devs for purpose, not just because they want you to have a "cool shield". It's VERY SAD to me that some guy wants to help out with the community JUST FOR THE SHIELD. Ask any GoA, they will say they probably don't even care if they HAD THE SHIELD, because they are glad to of been crowned with something that some will not achieve. The GoAs strive to be good, because thats who they are. People who strive for GoA for a shield, quit faking being someone you're not. Or the people that say "we need more recruits" is the worst of it. I agree with you. Im proud to have a veterans shield cuz it shows ive been playing for more than 6 months. And people, its not about the shield. Whiever got it deserves it. In game there are millions of items you can wear to look good! there are vanities, elites, pinks! & everyone wants a shield. this post is refeering to ppl who just love the shield. Shadow, making guides is not what got us GoA.

In the times when the game wasn't completely figured out, people used to contribute and help out a lot. This included treating fellow players with respect, playing the game maturely, and knowing what to do in situations where everything is not ideal. (This can range from an argument between two players, being called out on forums, or outright chaos over an update)


Typically, the players who are GoA are mature, older players. This doesn't mean the younger audience can't be granted the honor of the title & shield. It's just that the people who were older were more likely to act out of the goodness of their heart.

On that note, while the majority of the GoA are mature older players, there are also a handful that do not fit that category, such as me (I was awarded mine when I was 16), Mysticaldream, Otukura, Dawninfinity, etc.

Though we may not have had the age of experience, we still had maturity, kindness, and other characteristics people appreciate.


Many of us do not show those characteristics as often in daily encounters anymore due to the fact of sheer boredom of the game and annoyance at the trivial fights. As a result, what remains is many of us have succumbed to trolling. It's something not commendable - I'll admit that firsthand, but alot of the time one does not realize.

However, if there was a situation in which help was direly needed, I'm sure that none of us would say no.

Also, I can look up the thread I made identifying many of the characteristics GoA have in common to give you an idea.

They're not necessarily done with GOA's, it's just the it's an extremely high honor for PL, and basically Apollo said above the criteria's it took to become one above.
