okay so I heard it'll be on Friday (December 5). Can anyone confirm this?

If I remember correctly it's usually around the 3rd week in December.

ahh, I didn't know the update only lasted 1-3 days. (was thinking more 2-4 weeks lol)

It doesn't last only a few days. It starts around the third week of December usually and ends a week or a week and a half from then in the beginning of January.
