IMO, there shouldn't be any complaints about this. The scammer isn't exactly breaking the rules unless he/she has hacked. You need to be careful during trades. Don't get me wrong, I don't scam people. In fact I have seen 7 attempts of scamming in a single day.
The most popular way of scamming is to quickly change a zero while the other player is distracted (By adding items or messaging). Usually people don't look at the second window, so that's where you have to be careful. Another way is to cancel the trade about 2 or 3 times because of 'lag' (which they don't really have), and then changing the amount of zeroes. This also sometimes works because the player accepts quickly after cancelling the trade a few times. I never complain about getting scammed because I know it is my fault.

It's hard to trust in Pl. Always take your time while trading; there's no rush. Look at the offer and review and review again. Only after that should you accept.
Be wise and cautious, maybe a little paranoid lolol, and you can't be scammed :)
