I just got a notification a little bit ago that my nexus upgraded it's android version. So I did and now not only is my device no longer rooted, it also is running extremely slow and in PL or O&C I have lag spikes like every 30 seconds. Have any of you android users had issues with android 5.0? I didn't have these problems until the update today.

Well I guess it's not just me, I did a google search and apparently the new android version has many problems with the various nexus devices.

I don't have Android 5.0, but someone on forums told me about "Clean Master" app.
It has a function on it called "Speed Boost" which may be able to help speed up your Nexus.

hope it helps

Well I dunno, because my tablet is old and is sitting on Android 4.4. I guess I will never know.

Do a factory reset after installed 5.0 ota, its one of the biggest android release, like update your windows vista to win7 better do a clean install. Or you can unlock your bootloader and flash a factory image from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images with wugfresh http://www.wugfresh.com nexus toolkit its just 2 click.

Dont use cleaner apps, nexus devices dont need these.
