58 minutes. 2x XP pots(the ones for 1500g). Go from 50-51.

Not enough, IMHO.

Here's a thought. Level without pots?

2 hours then... I was trying this with my friend, who obsessed with leveling.

And I don't grind... but seeing how fast it goes, it really makes me, well, sad. I don't want it to end.

Oh, sorry. I didn't take into account of all those things. Wasn't aware of the situation. Silly me.

Here's a thought. Make another character and level it?

Try making a new character with the hightened exp as it is. 45-50 takes 4 times as long as it used to. Then 1-45 is increased quite a bit too.

To get from 55 to 56 without pots in bandit boys hideout and at an average of 5 minutes per run, it'll take you 729 runs and about 60 hours and 45 minutes of grinding. I think that makes up for the easiness of previous levels :p

Hey just because you're a speed demon, no need to punish the rest of us lol. It took me many hours today cause I do other things then just grind. And for how often I play, I know I won't hit 56 in this version.

They already increased it. People who use xp elixirs and have a lot of time to play are going to lvl up quicker. But to casual players, it takes long enough.

It's the age-old MMORPG player progression conundrum.

How do you provide enough content and depth for the most fervent players while empathizing with the casual players who feel left behind?

Unfortunately at the expense of the greater player community the typical solution for most MMORPG's to put the brakes on power progression is to increase the grind. I'm not saying developing a balanced game that appeals to most people is easy, but creating "grind" is a company's way of saying either, we can't afford to make it better, we're comfortable with the status quo, or most likely, we don't know how to make it better. It's a quick fix: if players are progressing too fast, make them do the same thing, over...and over...and over.

Personally, I felt like the stretch between 50-51 took so long at times I felt like my exp was going backwards!

I understand what you mean when you say it should have taken longer to progress because its less satisfying if it seems easy. Keep in mind, you're creating the grind.

They should do more elite quests instead of making the game grindier. That way, casual players can still level normally, whilst hardcore ones can grind away at the quests.

I see what you mean Sky but unfortunately when you create more content that only targets the upper echelon of players you incidentally ostracize everyone else. The elite will be thrilled while the casual player is stuck with..."normally".

But as it is now, i doubt any casual player would be able to reach level 56 before the next update.

Callin' BS here. Basically you ran through Hideout in about 3 minutes every single time and never died once?

Hey don't make it tougher to level up. I am still in my 50's... Some of us do like to watch the scenery as we travel!

Going from 50-51, I'm assuming CTK, not Sewers.

Better suggestion, remove XP pots.

I know that it will never happen because they are a money maker but I think it ruins the game and only makes it harder for those of us (me) who are not willing to use them. :(

Rav, sometimes taking the harder route makes it more fun. I personally dont use them because I dont trust myself enough with Cruel Blast to use one because I cause so many of my own deaths.

personally, I think we need novel ways to get experience outside of the standard grind.

That's the problem with MMORG's now, Grind. Yes, you can make it harder to level makes the grind worse and pretty much boring.

Suggestion of just finding a different way to gain experience in regards to quests, etc, with novel equipment. As it stands crafting is a great way to sideline the grind required as well.

True. Even so, he's in for a rude awakening in the Sewers with those stupid grates.

Please don't make it any harder to level! Bad enough I need 1.8k XP to level, and that's just to level 39! As a very casual player I doubt I'll ever get any of my characters to 56 unless grinding is made any easier or I discover another way to earn XP.

Or unless I lose my job/ hobbies.. :(

i made a calc:
i played hideout yesterday, mainly to farm xp. i used the 1,5k XP-elixier. In one round u gain 280 xp with it. One round need 5 min or lesser in a good team.

to gain 83k XP u need to play Hideout 300 times, wich means u must play for 24h and u need a mony amount of 450k
