i downloaded the free version of ravensword, its limited to the places you can go in the free version but its still pretty fun.

running around in first person reminds me of the elder scrolls games.

yer i wish i had the money to buy the full version, looks like the most epic offline rpg on ipod.

it would give me somthing to play when im not in a wifi hotspot, like when im waiting for a bus or train

Id pay for zenonia 1 (2 sorta sucked) or ff1 or ff2.
I know you said free but a 2 dollar game is pretty cheap.

I got the game for free as part of a promo. Unfortunately, it's not free anymore. Fortunately, it's only 99 cents. :)

In terms of gameplay, its an old-school dungeon crawler. It's split into two "episodes":

The first episode starts in a spooky crypt, and then progresses into Hell. You fight various types of undead, demons, and other ghoulies.
The second episode is in a city named Termon. You explore sewers, another crypt, a wilderness area, and an abandoned mine. Each area has different monsters to kill.

Along the way, you also get quests from various NPCs. The usual quests are, "Kill this badguy" or "Find this object". Each quest has a reward. The plot is pretty linear (expected for an iPhone game), but a few of the quests are optional. The core of the gameplay is classic RPG: kill monsters, take their stuff, level up your character, repeat until done.

Worth a buck, easily. :)

I jailbroke my Ipod and i bought Zenonia 1..... My Ipod ran out of power and everything got deleted even the games i payed for!!!! (never jailbrake your ipod)

Lawl. Everyone I kno who's jailbroken has never had that happen to them.maybe u just didn't jailbreak right but it would be kinda hard to not do it right since it's pretty simple. Jus sayin:).....but Zenonia is kinda fun.

Is it alot lik elder scrolls games? Cuz I liked oblivion alot for the 360 still play it but rarely.
