Why do people think battle mage is such a new idea? I've been running around on Deronwilliams for ages....Lady, Imp, and Divine can attest to that...

Do you mean paladins? If so, they have always been around. They were one of the fist hybrids built.

That's how almost all paladins used to be... ages ago. People graduated to int for the spell damage. I was str/dex when 40 was cap and I was NOT the first by far.

i think until the stat rehaul (cant remember if it was earlt Ao3 or late Ao2) anything other than a int mage tried to get as much dex as possible. str/dex was pretty common.

nowadays..... pointless tbh

I made a lvl 30 pally/int Magellan a pretty long time ago (one of the first dual weilders;P) they've been around for ages. One of the first ones I ever met was Violentsain back in April or May.

Yes and no, I spotted him on multiple times, but I don't think he is officially back.

If i may correct the term Battle Mage, they're more understood as Dex pallies, whatever nukes your bear.
