Okay so about a year ago, someone from the "inside" gave me the entire adobe 5 system for free. That includes like 8 programs from cinema, illustrator, photoshop, sketch pro and a bunch of others. But it's all outdated by like 16 updates, so in two weeks, the person on the "inside" is giving me the entire up to date adobe CS5 extended Premium addition for free. The Full CS5 program is 2 grand *party*

No but I do want to get into the graphic artist industry. You guys have already seen what I can do with a crappy version of photoshop thats pretty much in the stone age compared to whats out now. I already know how to do this type of picture by heart, I just don't have the tools to do it on my current cave man version.

:P i'll probebly be dishing out sigs left and right when I get the new version. As I will be on it all the time making new designs anyways. I am currently making a new sig for me that will involve this type of text, but it will be splashing energy and sparking lightning.

You do freelance work? Nothing major but occasionally get asked for bits here and there. More business graphics for websites, logos, etc or are you more on the conceptual art side of things....

I'm more conceptual art type, once I get out of college, I am gonna try becoming a graphic artist that creates the designs for like nike, doritos or any other website with advanced web page design layouts. I might even consider 3D graphics and make video game graphics.

They are the same tools but additional features. Like in my PS7, dodge tool only adds white to the photo and occupancy of the dodge cannot be changed. In CS5, there are at least 150 different ways to use the dodge tool, compared to the PS7 one way to use it. It's like that with all the other tools, with the massive variety of ways to use them now.

Dang! Sounds awesome! I might have to look into getting one of the newer versions. I'm still using a fairly old version.

You should! Try finding some sales... I checked the website and to "upgrade" for a "discounted" price costs 899 dollars for me. Thats how outdated mine is that the discount is only 20 bucks.. Really? Thats like saying...
"Hey, I'll give you a discount on this $600 PS3 if you give me your PS1." "Sweet! How much do I give you?" "$599.20 and all your PS1 games as well...."
