View Full Version : Solo Bandit King and Queen

We were discussing in chat about whether the BS bosses could be soloed. It came up that the Queen probably couldn't because of her excessive healing that she does. She was doing between 2,800-2,950 every five seconds which explains why she takes so long compared to the king.
King can easily be kited and killed within a few minutes. With a tanker pot, the queen did minimal damage while I wore the "Keeper Enchantress" set. Damage pot was needed to be able to put out enough damage over how much she heals. It took about 20 minutes to kill her.
If someone wants to record the fight so we can figure out her stats, I can do it again. I'm also sure a bird can solo her faster than that.

Awesome job. I see 1000+ damage there, I wonder how much damage images can do with the new set and on damage pots. Ill join later tonight for a run.

We can do that sometime and then Phys can try to look at the numbers and figure out her stats. Your video actually helped me pull the king separately without much effort. Right now I'm trying to hit 55 so I can wear the new gear.

Probably HD so that we can see the numbers clearly.

You can see the numbers clearly in both. Just a matter of personal preference.
Actually I just looked back, while you can see the numbers clearly in displayrecord, it lags as it only records at 25 fps (I record at 20 fps to reduce graphical lag), and that kinda skips numbers and makes it laggy so... The other option is probably the best bet.

wow powerful mage! i can barely scratch the queen with my glowstick, she heal so fast.

After running the stronghold last night everyone in the party ditched before the King & Queen. I guess they were XP grinding and I should have asked. I had the daily quest to kill the King and Queen and decided to try it solo, inspired by this thread.
My level 54 pure dex archer can put out pretty decent DPS (purple level 53 recurve) so I figured I could handle it with a damage pot and tank pot.
I pulled the king out the door and he went down fast (around 2-3 minutes). The queen was much slower. She took right under 15 minutes to kill. I also used a good number of health pots. Probably wouldn't do it again because of the time and expense. But it was a fun challenge last night.

With lvl 55 henchmans gear and a dmg pot my bird throws up 1150~1200 crits pretty regularly on Gold Fever. I suddenly have an urge to go do this and see what kinda dmg can be put out on the queen lol.

Yes. Just tried. I started on the queen, 2 people were already in the map and agreed to let me solo the bosses. I potted up started in on the queen, two other people joined ran in and started fighting and wouldn't stop. Still looking for a game to do it in.

Yeah it's incredibly easy so long as you can out-damage how much she heals. The only issue with trying to solo up to her would be the big room right before her where like half the enemies on the map are packed into. You could also get a friend to host a game, and then clear your way to her. Your friend could then just boot whoever joins so you don't get distracted.

Took 5 minutes 38 seconds to kill both give or take a second. I looked at the stopwatch when king died and it took about a minute and 30 seconds to kill him so about 4 minutes for queen.

With Lv 55 you will surely kill her faster than with Lv 50 gears. + The extra armor will make it safer.
