I'm surprised nobody has suggested this... Many successful games has a PvP timer. Why doesn't AL have its own? We all know that nobody actually plays "CTF". In Arcane Legends, "CTF" is basically the same as TDM without a kill limit. How can we fix this? And this is where a timer comes in...

What would a timer do? A timer sets pace to the match changing the overall outcome of the game.

My suggestion—

Limit a match around 10 to 15 minutes.
600 to 900 seconds should be enough to get up to 5 flags.

---------------PROS---------------
• People might actually play "CTF" the right way.
• Slows down dummy farmers
• Recycles rooms, making it easier to find a match

---------------CONS---------------
• Would prevent guild wars

Time limit is leaning towards CTF since TDM doesn't need it.

Constructive critisism is greatly appreaciated.
Please let me know if the limit is too long or too short...

Since i hate guildwars overall, even if friendly matches, i dont even think that is a con to me, so i say +1 ^^

Tbh I don't think it would change anything, people would still kill each other without playing a capture the flag game till the room ends.
Imo the best thing to do would be to add a counter of won and lost matches, like this people would play the real CTF to win as much as possible (since many are so worried about kdr :))

Yes it's the most annoying thing when people don't even know how to play CTF, all they care about is the dumb flagging AP.
