Possible weapon stats bug

This may not be a bug, just me being stupid. My bird is level 54, pure Dex. Currently, I'm still using the Sunblessed Bow/Void set. A extraordinarily kind friend gave me a level 51 Rat Raider's Gemstone Recurve pink bow. Here's the problem: with my Sunblessed equipped, I have a DPS of 271. When I highlight the Recurve, it says it'll up my DPS 10 points to 281. When I equip it, my DPS drops to 269. I am confused. (And yes, I have a Platinum Ring of Technique equipped--that's why my DPS is currently where it is.)

Take into consideration the set bonus from the void set which only shows when you have all of them on.

Ah, there is that, thanks. Pity that the inventory doesn't do that automatically, but I'm sure it'd be a pain.
