I'm just wondering... Why not bring the old winterfest items back. The proper WF items are ridiculously overpriced, there's hardly any left in the game. And now I'm talking about the snowball launchers and toywands

Plz?

And now when I think about it, I dont think it'd hurt bringing the halloween and forgotten items back. but since Sts raised the Liquaditing price so high I dont think its gonna happen..*

Bringing back old WF weapons would anger many hoarders / pvpers.

and halloween items were nerfed and set to high liquidation prices for a reason so yea.

but who knows many are rush selling there charred/bulb racks/Sbls/toywands atm so we will see.

Theres no point of having like an item that will get rare eventually and the pvp in lower lvls will be in a year or so completely dominated by just a few players that have the 5mil paw or fbow

It'll be mostly the hoarders and collectors that'll be angry. Low level rarely use toys and sbls and tinsels because Halloween items overpower them. The only levels I see old WF items used are in 15-20(somewhat common) and 25-27(a little rare to see them there). Honestly if I owned a toy I'd definitely use it over a paw any day.

Wtf why you want forgetten stuff back? thats the reason most people quit and complained about the game. I also disagree bringing old WF items back, sts should just create new stuff than just bringing old stuff back.

I really couldn't care less for the hoarders and collectors partly because they are the reason the prices on the WF items are so high.

You'd be annoyed if you spent what 5-15 mil on a old WF item just to find out it will be back for Christams update and you lost all the gold because people were selling them for 100-200k

Part of the excitement/fun if MMO's is the ability to farm/merch items which become "rare" and hold, or exceed their value as the life of the game progresses. The devs/mods have already stated items from 2012/2013 will be reintroduced this year and there are several threads each day in which the same statements are either confirmed or reposted.

People need to chill out (pun definitely intended) and see what happens before getting their panties all wadded up.

But from a merch's stand point they want to know before the event so they can sell the item before it gets re released. If it gets released then their items would be worth nothing.

Or they coulda sold all their items and just make a new forum account and ask to re release old items so they can make their profit and get the item back.

No they dont. If merches were 100% sure that the items would get re-released everyone would, so it would make those items worthless. What they want and need is risk, because that is when players make bad decisions and merches can take advantage of that and either hop in on the risk train or play it safe.

*but PLs economy is broken anyway, STS can apparenty do whatever they want and people will still just adapt to it.

But they dont. There is just a chance and they could take misleading forum information and sell it in hopes of in returning. And since they 100% dont know for sure... that means people in game dont know and will buy their items at OP price.

Plus the majority of people in game pprobably doesnt have/check forums anymore

i hear the good ol king dandy will have a 1% chance of spawning in each halloween map as an easter egg, wrong holiday tho, but anyways he has a 0.87% drop rate of essentially a founders helm, the frosty crystal hood, which grants 5% hit and crit, to give farmers a chance to compete with founders helm users

You are underestimating how fast the information travels, especially (in the case of winterfest items) between the wealthiest of the players.
