new lvl 40 player

So I just hit lvl 40 and I am so broke. What are the best elite maps to run solo to get item to sell. I need upgraded equipment and a good guild I guess. Thanks for all the suggestions

Best way I've found to make gold is event craftables. Craft as many Urs locks n Tarl gems as you can then sit on them until they hit a good price.

Wouldn't suggest buying any gear until you hit 41.

I suggest you should lvl up to 41 and farm energy essences, and farming points in Syrillax's lair. Then you can sell any items for high price from those events.
