Few questions about Christmas Event

Some of them might be noob questions, but I havent taken part in any winter event so far, so here goes:
1. Is the Holiday Gift Wrap Shield a Vanity or an Item?
2. The Gift shield gives some armour and other stats. Is this added on to your set, or is it another shield, like an item?
3. Which one would you rather choose, The gift wrap shield or holo shield, and which color for holo?

Thats all. I dont wanna spend much plat because I have limited at the moment, so I wanna clear everything up first.

1 : Pink = item blue = vanity
2 : just an item no bonus
3 : i bought all shield vanitys this year the presents look neat but id say golden or green holo.

But the drag sets before crafted are pink, but wearable as vanities. Same with alien and gem reg. What Im trying to find out is will it come under your items section or vanities section in the inventory. I dont want to buy the gifts if it replaces the normal shield in a set.

There are two kinds of "gift shields". Those that come in a pack are level 1 vanities, and the others, which you buy separately, are not vanities.

The pink presents fall under gear not vanity.

The pink gifts will break your sets.

Buy halo shields they can fit in all year.
