Most popular brackets are 15-20 30-35 51-61 75-77
Matter of preference what class you pick

Bear is your best bet L15-L20, L51-L61, and endgame. Mage is probably second "most op" in 15-20, the best in 30-35, and the second in 51-61.

Bear would probably be the best to start with and they are the top class at most levels.

At l15-17, mages are the best but people use bear because the bears are considered easier to use as well as the fact theit fights go faster.

Well yes but he's new so I wouldn't rly recommend L15 mage for him

I would recommend L40 bear for him.
In 35 mages dominate and 45 is all about nukes, and new players are kinda clueless at first and wonder how they die so fast.
So get L30 or L40 Bear.

30 bear better considering shivering armor talon and wing and a bone helm cost like 50k total
