Magic Shiv
Really sharp but may wear out your magic powers!
35-40 damage, .6 speed, -1m/s

Frogmar battle armor
This armor is powerful but rather bulky and may just slow you down!
+7 m/s, 40 armor, +0.2 weapon speed

Oh, this is interesting. It would have to be really, really good for me to want to use anything with a negative mana regen though...

Let's say it does 10-15 more damage than the shiv, but has a cost of -1m/s. or remove damage and add stats?

It's an example, but would make it more fun to choose your items. You could create a true berserk build, huge damage but virtually no heal or mana powers.

Or a real mage who depends on spells and not a staff or wand. However you would have to give weight to each stat.

That could work to. Mxx currently for armor is +5m/s, say this new item gives +7m/s, but slows your weapon speed by .2(from 1.0 to 1.2)

There is allot to play with, really hope Dev see this. This would allow even more diversity in the player base. Something everyone is keen to.

Plus the more people respect, the more money for Space Time. I have no problem spending money on creative development!!!

I like it. Good ideas.

One thing that I think would make this game even better would be more individuality with items. Having items with pro/cons instead of just a few items that everyone strives for and wears would go a ways to help that, and could cover all the rarities from common to legendary.

Imagine (some ideas off the top of my head):
A legendary hammer that has insane damage, but you can't wear armor while wielding it.
A helmet that gives +3 m/s and -3 h/s.
A dagger that does great damage and can poison enemies, but does 5 h/s of damage to wielder (thinking of ruby-hilted dagger of Shadar Logoth from Wheel of Time)
Full plate armor that gives great armor but reduces weapon speed.
etc.

I agree with the ideas. I think the first thing that needs to come out are items like

warrior helm - 14 armor (+7 to normal swamp hats) no stats

voodoo cap - reduce spell refresh time by 2 seconds

chicken gizzard - increase range of weapon by 1meter

other ideas- crossbow that does dmg + small armor debuff

Mage staff that procs small heals on friends

warrior hammer that doesnt suck. Haha...

helmets are definitely kinda lame atm, but that's ok, gives us room to grow :)
