View Full Version : Devs-- Can it be Hammer Time!?

Devs-

Why do you keep beefing 2handers--and all weapons--but don't change the Copperhead Wammo the Hammo dps? Yes, you gave it some stats- but The Croc spine gives me 79 dps now while the hammer is still giving me 60.

Swamp Rat's Croc Tooth Sword (1hander) is giving me 75 dps. I would much rather have a Zombie shield (now 19armor 7dodge 5h/s) and the sword than the occasional stun from this hammer. If something is going to be a no drop item (non-tradeable), which makes it one of the least attainable items in the game, why wouldn't it be better or at least comparable to other 2handers? Currently it is 10 dps behind the Blackmetal Claymore and 13 dps behind the Battlesword (and 19 behind the Croc Spine!). I don't understand why this hammer is getting nerfed!

Btw the stun should really be nerfed down on the hammer, but the damage should be in line with the croc tooth.

@Cinco: Can you also take a look at the tridents? It was great seeing a spear weapon added but they are woefully low on DPS. The extra .5 seconds it take for them to swing ends up making a suprisingly large difference. It seems they have a slightly longer range than other 1 handers, but it's not enough to justify the loss of damage.

I thought I saw somewhere here on forums, that this hammer might have been wrongly tagged "non-tradeable"? Is this still the case, and being looked into? Thanks.
