Spending platinums !

Alright, i have 1.7k plats i would like to use. I am not sure what to do with them, so i will ask you people what you would recommend :
1) Should i try my luck on locked crates ? If so, which locked crates should i open ?
2) Should i spend them to farm ?
3) Should i buy elixirs to help me level up faster? (I made a rogue and i am currently slowly caping it)
4) If you have any other options in what i should spend them, please share !

Definitely buy elixirs. I'd stack some ankh kits and sell them. Never open locks.

Opening lockeds is a very bad idea. Don't believe people that tell you they looted an arcane shard and the solution to world hunger from the first crate. In my opinion, spending plat on something that is permanent is the best way to go. Here are two of my favorites:

- The Jumpstart Bundle! - Located in the 'Shop.' I buy one of these for each of my alts. For just 40 platinum, you get 50 inventory slots, 10 auction slots, 25k gold and 200 potions. If you were to buy the inventory and the auction slots individually, they would cost 105 platinum for the same amount! After that you should stick to using story tokens for additional inventory and auction slots.

- If you're after achievement points and titles, there are some necessary pets that can only be purchased with platinum.

On occasion, items purchased with plat sell for four or more times STS's official 1 plat to 1000 gold exchange rate. For example, if an energy kit is selling for 20k (you buy for 5 plat each), you will get 4k gold for each plat. It's up to you whether or not you want to cash in at that point.

Open lockeds. Since plat farmers with the collaboration of sts and their stupid long double offer event are devaluing once again plat to gold conversion, It worth the risk.

Just save it so when new content comes the there will be platinum exclusives so it will be better to spend on those items/pets. So save it there is nothing worth buying at the moment in my opinion apart from scorch (pet) who i really like for some reason

If you want to open locked open no more than 10. Trust me. Greed will have you f***ed.

I think ankhs price will never get a chance to increase as you can see klaas and shazbot are giving it 75% all the time when you visit them, and people will just farm them from allied ( klaas and shazbot ). But to those people running elite maps and tombs all day might be worth of them buying instead of waiting some time for allied to give out.
