Family enrolls in a Weight Watchers program.

Mom and dad loses 25 pounds to be a total of 75 pounds.
Bro and sis loses 25 pounds to be a total of 25 pounds.

The family weighs 100 pounds total and can now cross to the island without breaking the boat.

Hold the boat with their hands, and swim.

Bro, sis, and dad go to other side, dad goes back, then mom and dad go to other side. Done.

Mom - M
Dad - D
Bro - B
Sis -S

Okay, so B and S go over, and S comes back with the boat, leaving B on the other side. M then takes the boat over to the side where B is, leaving S with D. Once M gets there, B brings the boat back, and B and S return to the other side where M is. S goes back alone to where D is, and D takes the boat to where M and B are now waiting. B gets in the boat by himself, crosses, picks S up, and then returns to the other side.

Point and match. :)

Edit: Yer gramma better make a mean cookie.

lol I remember in math class... I got a question like this... except it had a time limit as well.

It was something like........

You are lost in a jungle, you have one hour before it turns dark, you must cross the bridge before it becomes night time. The Bridge can hold 225 pounds at a time, there is 8 people in your group. (I dont remember the individual weights of the people). Crossing the bridge took 10 minutes, but the person had to come back each time because they only had one rope. One of the people was injured and crossing took 2 times as long. All I remember was there was like 348234329823473246237847324732482345234717943 different possibilities and I wanted to die! My 6th grade expected a lot from us... Also most interesting and dramatic math question ever? I think so! Oh oh and each person crossed the bridge at different speeds, but sadly somehow, the fat people traveled the fastest, making it so the bridge breaks...

Two things:

1) You said the cookie was made from your great grandmother. Not sure if I'm interested anymore.

2) They are on an island. Can they not just walk to the other side of it?

I have a better game. Here's how we play: I go make cookies and eat them all, and you get none. You neither, Militaryman. :p Then, the grease from my cookies gets on my phone screen, and I kill us all the next time we pass a barrel. Deal?

I'm 90 percent certain this is a PC game:p

It's like the one where you have to take a boat and transport a wolf, sheep, and hay basket across the river. You must take 2 things with you, and 1 thing must remain in the boat, and, something cant be alone on the island. The wolf eats the sheep, and the sheep eats the hay so you can't leave em alone. It's kinds confusing but so fun:p
