Wellcome!
Aggro means pulling, in pulling. Lets make it simple, aggro means dragging the attention of the mobs in pve. U would notice that in the warrior skill horn of renew tehere is a skill upgrade which would taunt all enemies around u, that applies for pve only i guess. Aggro means taunting/pulling mobs.

Hello there!
Just a little deeper explanation on aggro. There are three tiers:
1)Body Aggro:
The weakest of the three. Basically means getting the mob's attention by walking inside the mob's body aggro circle. That circle is larger for ranged-type mobs like goblin archers and smaller for melee-type mobs like speared goblins.
2)Skill Aggro:
The second weakest and more common. Simply, using skills or normal attacks to inflict damage and get the mob's attention. Favors the DPS classes in this game as the majority of their skills can be fired from safety distance.
3)Taunt Aggro:
The third and most powerful. Only available to the Warrior class through skill upgrades or weapon procs. This type of aggro overrides the previous two.
Note:
Currently, due to the fact that DPS skills allow Rogues and Sorcerers to cause extreme DoT (damage over time) to all targets, the poor Warriors' Taunt is not really effective. That by its nature has lowered their usefulness and has made the class's popularity decline by a whole lot since the game started.
There's no ETA for a fix as there has been no comment which would indicate that this issue is recognized by STS yet. Choose your class wisely. ;)
