Angle of elevation is just an angle that looks upward. The lower ray in the angle is straight, and the uppper ray is pointing somewhere in the sky.

AOE helped me remember something for Precal too. A prime ^ e (rt). So it was kind of like AOE.

No that isn't geometry. It's more of a stats / precal thing. Finding interest rates etc. That doesn't have anything to do with angles or shapes or proofs. :p
